Blue 1102


This eq is Insprired upon the module originally found in the 8*68 console, It has the characteristics of a 1*73 with added Frequency’s in the High band and a added  High-Q mid range. The character is broad, making it a great general mixing eq, Classic curves and huge tone, The sound of a classic!

As in all samplings we used a proper designed (Raw State) power supply, this affects the sound of the unit, giving a better sense of space and detail. These modules originally have no line input when used by themselves, Sampling this unit was achieved by a modifying the unit that enabled us to create a proper Line input. I’ve Insured minimal ringing on samples to achieve Ultimate punch and clarity!

In use

You can find this eq under B02 in the nebula menu

Add a pre/line to the the channel you wish to eq, This gives the classic transformer tone in the high mids. Next add eq a clean or distortion kernal instances to the channel after the Pre/line, try to a add a distortion kernal instance at the end of the chain. The eq has been sampled in a way that we’ve bypassed the rise in the mids found in the pre/line instance, this means you can keeps adding instances without the worry of this build up in the high mids.
